A premiação acontece no dia 15 de janeiro, a partir das 21h, em uma grande festa transmitida direto de Los Angeles

A 28ª entrega dos Critics Choice Awards®,a famosa premiação aos melhores do cinema, televisão e streaming, será transmitida ao vivo pela TNT e pela HBO Max no domingo, 15 de janeiro de 2023, às 21h, direto do Fairmont Century Plaza de Los Angeles.

É a primeira vez que a plataforma de streaming transmite uma premiação ao vivo. A festa vai reunir os artistas que mais se destacaram no ano, segundo a Critics Choice Association (CCA). Os indicados de TV foram anunciados no dia 06 de dezembro e nessa quarta-feira, dia 14, serão revelados todos os nomeados nas categorias cinematográficas.

A Warner Bros. Discovery recebeu 31 indicações para o Critics Choice Awards. Entre elas, 21 para a HBO Max (15 da HBO e 6 da Max Originals), que lidera a lista. Os destaques são House of the Dragon, Barry, Euphoria, García!, Hacks, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, My Brilliant Friend, station Eleven, The Flight Attendant, The White Lotus e The survivor.

As outras 10 indicações para a Warner Bros. Discovery no Critics Choice Awards® foram para as marcas Warner Bros. Television: Abbott Elementary, Call me Kat, Young Sheldon e Harley Quinn; TBS: Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, Adult Swim e Cartoon Network Studios: Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal.

Os Critics Choice Awards® são organizados anualmente pela Critics Choice Association, a maior organização de críticos dos Estados Unidos e do Canadá, que representa mais de 600 profissionais da mídia e jornalistas que cobrem a área de entretenimento. São premiadas as melhores produções do cinema, da televisão e do streaming. Historicamente, trata-se do termômetro mais preciso das futuras indicações ao Oscar®.
